PALMERTOWN COORDINATOR
As the Palmertown Range Project Coordinator, Laura will provide project management, public outreach, and support toward the achievement of the recommendation in the strategy for conservation, recreation and sustainable economic development completed in 2018 that the local towns and community groups are working together to implement.
Laura is working side by side with the different Palmertown sub-committees, as well as consultants working on the Sarah B. Foulke Friendship Trails. If you want to learn more about the progress of the Palmertown Range or the Sarah B. Foulke Friendship Trails, follow along on Saratoga PLAN’s website as well as on the Palmertown Range Facebook and Instagram pages.
Please reach out directly to Laura with questions about the project or to find out ways to get involved (laurak@saratogaplan.org).
ABOUT LAURA
Laura began her career in land conservation in 2017 through a Saratoga PLAN internship. She recently completed her Masters of Science in Biodiversity, Conservation and Policy at SUNY Albany where she focused her research on environmental justice and planning.
Laura was born and raised in the Capital Region and she is extremely excited about the Palmertown Project being so close to home (especially so she can take her 3 dogs hiking) and ensuring that generations to come will be able to experience the scenic beauty of The Palmertown Range.
