Will Orthwein

Will grew up on a horse farm in Atlanta, GA. He headed north for high school at Choate Rosemary Hall in Connecticut and then to the Capital Region where studied business and physics at Skidmore College, earned his MBA at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has been involved in a variety of entrepreneurial and real estate ventures.

Will and his family live in Saratoga Springs where he owns and operates a 110-acre equine boarding, training and educational facility focusing on the sport of polo. He grows and harvests hay, enjoys his vegetable garden, pumpkin and asparagus patches, walnut tree grove, honeybee hives, and creating x-country ski trails on the farm.

Will served on the PLAN Board for nine years in multiple positions, including Chairman, and found the work rewarding and meaningful.
