Bill has many years of professional and volunteer experience in public and private sector finance, environmental conservation and land use planning with several organizations including the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Office of the New York State Comptroller and Town of Colonie Planning Board and Conservation Advisory Council. Alongside Saratoga PLAN, he is currently a member of the Town of Halfmoon Trails and Open Space Committee as well as its Comprehensive Plan Update Committee, steward for four miles of the North Country National Scenic Trail traversing a portion of Adirondack Park, member of The Nature Conservancy and Adirondack Mountain Club. Bill has received several awards including the Theodore Roosevelt Ethics Award and the Peter A.A. Berle Memorial Award for outstanding contribution towards environmental sustainability efforts.
