Tori Roberts

As Conservation Director for Saratoga PLAN, Tori oversees the entire conservation process, from initial landowner inquiries to stewardship. She helps landowners and municipalities to achieve their own conservation goals, while also balancing and advancing Saratoga PLAN’s priorities to protect the region’s most vital and vulnerable lands.

Tori has a B.A. in Geography with minors in Environmental Studies and Psychology from SUNY Geneseo and a Masters in Regional Planning with a focus on Environmental Land Use from the University of Albany.

She worked for a season with Lake Clark and Katmai National Parks in Southwest Alaska, focusing on aquatic invasive species and fisheries research. She also spent nearly four years with the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation as a GIS/Planning Technician and an Accessible Trails Technician.

In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and participating in almost any outdoor activity, including hiking, skiing, canoeing, kayaking, and biking.

Fun fact: Tori has volunteered and held part-time positions at various community gardens and farms throughout the Capital Region!

“PLAN’s work is incredibly impactful and one of the best ways to help us protect our lands, the creatures that inhabit the land, and the complex web of connections between the two. Playing a role in the work that PLAN does is extremely fulfilling.”
