Over the past two decades, Peter has dedicated his career to addressing some of the most pressing energy and environmental issues of our time. As a policy leader in the clean energy and climate space, he brings management experience in the public, non-profit and private sectors, and is a strategic thinker motivated by collaboration.
Peter currently serves a Program Officer for the Clean Grid Initiative, which is a philanthropic initiative focused exclusively on raising the ambition and expanding capacity for unlocking transmission solutions across the U.S. Prior to this role, Peter served as Director of Public Policy in building and managing a policy team for FreeWire Technologies, a manufacturer of innovative EV charging solutions. From 2015-2021, Peter played a leadership role in New York State government in helping to develop and implement the state’s ambitious clean energy and climate agenda. His professional background also includes various roles in the non-profit and public sectors, ranging from advancing solar energy markets to the preservation of farmland.
Peter received a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Skidmore College and master’s degree in energy and environmental policy from the University of Delaware. Peter resides in Saratoga Springs, NY.
