Larry Woolbright is Professor Emeritus of Biology at Siena College where he taught ecology and environmental science for more than thirty years. His research was on the population ecology of amphibians. He also worked as a consultant, designing open space preserves for development projects.
Larry earned a BS in Biology at Presbyterian College, an MS in Biology at University of Georgia, and a PhD in Ecology & Animal Behavior at SUNY Albany.
Before moving to NYS in the 1970’s he lived in Atlanta and watched it grow uncontrollably from a compact small city to suburban sprawl that stretches for miles in every direction. He doesn’t want to see the same thing happen to Saratoga County. His past volunteer work includes Ballston Spa School Board, Town of Milton Planning Board and Open Space Committee, and Mayor of Ballston Spa.
