PLAN will be hosting a Public information Session to discuss the design for the “Northern Gateway,” a new trailhead and parking area, on Tuesday, April 14th at 6 p.m. at the Greenfield Community Center at 25 Wilton Road, Greenfield Center, NY. All interested parties, including local residents, property and business owners, are encouraged to participate and provide input.
PLAN would like to construct a parking lot, trail, and trailhead which would connect the existing Graphite Range Community Forest on U.S. Route 9 with Wilton Road in the Town of Greenfield. This meeting will be held to introduce the project to the community and review early conceptual design ideas.
The design and construction effort is being guided by Saratoga PLAN, with the assistance of design consultants Saratoga Associates and trail consultants Wilderness Property Management.
