Join Saratoga PLAN’s Next Gen Committee, Kayak Shak, and the Capital Region PRISM (Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management) to remove water chestnut from the Fish Creek outlet on Saratoga Lake! Don’t worry, you don’t need to be part of the “next generation” to join the fun…

Water chestnut is an aquatic invasive plant that is found in many areas in New York and can form dense mats of vegetation that negatively impacts aquatic ecosystems and causes access problems for water recreation. Learn more.

Advance registration is required. There will be a brief training on water chestnut identification and how to properly pull up the plants by the Capital Region PRISM before going out on the water.

When: July 24th from 5:00pm-7:30pm (Rain Date: Friday, July 25th)
