Douglas Meyer

Douglas has worked in conservation and sustainable development for over 25 years; starting in international programs with The Nature Conservancy, then as a principal with Bernuth & Williamson, a consulting firm providing strategic planning for national and international organizations. He earned a BA in comparative literature at Indiana University, and an MA in foreign service at Georgetown.

He currently serves as director of communications and engagement for the Climate Resilience Fund, while also coordinating creation of a public engagement campaign for the Aquarium Conservation Partnership. 

Douglas and his family have been based in Saratoga Springs for almost 20 years. He has been active in various local initiatives, such as the development of the Saratoga Greenbelt Trail. With Saratoga PLAN, he has helped develop the southern Palmertown Range and the Tupelo and Graphite Range Community Forests, as well as strategies for community engagement.
