Having retired in the summer of 2022, in addition to finally taking decades delayed guitar lessons, Bruce is a volunteer mountain ambassador at Gore Mtn (ORDA), volunteers at Franklin Community Center, and has been a trail steward for Saratoga PLAN since September, 2022; he’s the site steward for Rowland Hollow Creek Preserve. He also recently started representing PLAN at various “tabling” events. Bruce says that “spending Monday mornings with the dedicated, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable PLAN preserve stewards helping maintain the wide variety of nature preserves throughout Saratoga County, is often the highlight of my week. I am looking forward to contributing more time in additional and different roles to support Saratoga PLAN’s conservation mission.”
Bruce and Linda bought their Saratoga Springs home near Rowland Hollow Creek Preserve 12 years ago, where Bruce has spent three-quarters time until the fall of 2020, when he and Linda moved here full time. They have two sons and two grandsons living in Brooklyn; when visiting, the grandkids like walking around and into the streams at Anchor Diamond.
Bruce was a career business-to-business publisher and sales management executive. He has extensive experience molding and managing sales, editorial, production, and administrative staffs to successfully produce profitable magazines/websites/newsletters, conferences and trade shows in the United States, Latin America, and Europe.
