Jennifer Allen brings extensive experience in both nonprofit and for-profit sectors, specializing in development, marketing, and human resources. With a strong background in strategic planning, social media, and fundraising, she has led impactful initiatives that have enhanced organizational growth and community engagement. As Executive Director of the Friends of the Saratoga Springs Public Library, she successfully increased membership and significantly expanded funding for the library, introducing innovative engagement strategies and new revenue streams.
Prior to this role, Jennifer served as Director of Development and Marketing at Saratoga Independent School, where she strengthened fundraising efforts and enhanced donor participation. Her tenure at Saratoga Eagle Sales and Service further showcased her expertise in training and development, employee recruitment, and community relations, reinforcing her ability to build strong teams and strategic partnerships.
Beyond her professional roles, Jennifer is deeply committed to community service and has dedicated her time and expertise to multiple nonprofit organizations. She has served on boards and committees for the Children’s Museum at Saratoga, Saratoga Foundation for Innovative Learning, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, New York Library Association, and the Leadership Saratoga Alumni Association, demonstrating her passion for supporting local initiatives and driving meaningful impact.
Jennifer is passionate about the outdoors and embraces adventure in all seasons. An avid skier, mountain biker, stand-up paddleboarder, and hiker, she finds joy in exploring nature and staying active. She also loves to travel and seeks out destinations surrounded by lakes, oceans, or mountain ranges, where she can immerse herself in the beauty of the outdoors.
Jennifer holds a Master of Science in Education from Sage Graduate School and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University at Buffalo. Certified in DiSC training and elementary education, she combines professional excellence with a strong dedication to nonprofit volunteerism, striving to create positive change within her community.
