As Saratoga PLAN’s Communications Manager, Anna Gomez Domenech leads efforts to share the impact of PLAN’s work and connect community members to land conservation in Saratoga County. She oversees PLAN’s social media platforms, media relations, website management, graphic design and helps with events. Anna is also the staff liaison for PLAN’s Next Generation Committee.
Anna was born in Illinois and raised in Saratoga County. She holds a Bachelor’s in Globalization Studies from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. As part of her undergraduate studies, she completed a 15-week program at The University of Buenos Aires in Argentina, focusing on regional integration, development, and social change.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys hiking, backpacking with friends, skiing, and painting. She recently started rowing with the Saratoga Rowing Association. Anna loves propagating house plants and volunteers as a Trail Steward for the Adirondack Mountain Club.
Fun fact: Anna thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2021 and is currently working on the Northeast “115” 4000-footers!
