As Executive Director, Jamie leads the Saratoga PLAN team in protecting and stewarding important lands throughout the Saratoga region. These conserved lands help protect drinking water, provide wildlife habitat, support the viability of working farms and forests, and offer access to nature for residents and visitors alike.

Before joining Saratoga PLAN in May 2026, Jamie served as Senior Program Manager for the New York Program at the Land Trust Alliance, where he provided grant funding, training, and policy support to nearly 100 land trusts across the state. He also worked as a Senior Project Manager for the Open Space Institute, focusing on conservation projects in northern New York, and served as Executive Director of the Lake George Land Conservancy from 2015 to 2021.

Earlier in his career, Jamie spent five years as National Director of Land Protection for Ducks Unlimited and held positions with land trusts in Maine and New Jersey. Throughout his career, he has helped protect more than 80,000 acres through conservation easements and land acquisitions. Jamie also served for nine years as a commissioner on the Land Trust Accreditation Commission and is a licensed attorney in New Jersey.

In his free time, Jamie enjoys spending time trying to establish native plants in his yard, following (and being disappointed every year by) the New Jersey Devils, and travelling.

Fun Fact: Jamie and his family have been owned over the past 30 years by 6 rescue dogs.

“It is rewarding to be a part of an organization that works to bring our communities together. PLAN has done so much good, and we have a great opportunity to ensure that future generations can enjoy the region and its quality of life.”
