Maddie Sauders

Maddie works closely with the Development Team to effectively and creatively communicate about PLAN’s mission and the role of a local land trust to the wider community. Her work includes creating engaging social media content to showcase PLAN’s work, conducting interviews with local landowners and volunteers, and helping to promote two of PLAN’s largest events: the Saratoga Farm Showcase and PLAN for the Future.

Maddie recently graduated from Middlebury College with her B.A. in Political Science. She previously worked as a Legislative Intern for NYS Assemblywoman Pat Fahy and as a Conflict Transformation Intern at diiVe- an educational consulting organization in Cape Town, South Africa.

In her free time, Maddie enjoys reading, photographing wildlife, doing copious amounts of crafting, and of course, spending lots of time in nature.

Fun fact: Maddie will be moving to Paris, France next year!

“I am super excited to join the Saratoga PLAN team this summer and assist with such incredibly important conservation efforts!”
