Jay grew up in rural Maryland where land preservation was ubiquitous and used to great effect to preserve the natural beauty and long history of agrarian use. He currently resides in Saratoga Springs with his wife and two daughters. Before moving to Saratoga Springs, he worked in Corporate Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group of Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown.
Jay holds a BA in Economics from Washington and Lee University, and an MBA from the Darden Business School at the University of Virginia, and currently serves as the CEO of Astro Chemical. He has served in various roles on the board of Saratoga PLAN, including Development, Audit & Finance, and Governance and is an active volunteer and supporter of nonprofits in the Saratoga Springs community.
