Tis the season for the return of the ‘big birds.’ Right now the rookery at the Ballston Creek Preserve has Heron, Osprey, and Great Horned Owls nesting! 
To see this amazing gathering of birds, simply make your way to the preserve (directions can be found on the preserve’s page) and follow the white trail all the way out to the wetland 
overlook. There’s even a nice seat to take a rest on as you enjoy this amazing wildlife!
