A former Park Ranger and environmental educator herself, Pastry Chef Leah Stein is a notable addition to the talented Feast of the Fields featured chefs. Guests will enjoy Chef Stein’s delicious Queen Bee Honey Cake as well as her mouthwatering Apple, Goat Cheese, and Honey Tartlets.
Baking “since she was big enough to reach the mixer,” Chef Stein attended the Schenectady County Community College Culinary Arts Program and now instructs young chefs in baking and cake decorating skills while owning and running her bakery, Leah’s Cakery, in Round Lake, NY. Chef Stein is celebrated for her artistry with many of her cakes appearing in wedding magazines, television shows, and even local art shows—many are extremely surprised to discover her sculpture was created from cake! Dedicated to education and community, we welcome Chef Stein as a featured chef at Feast.
