Feast-goers will have the pleasure of listening to the jazzy tunes of Hot Club of Saratoga, the Capital Region’s premiere gypsy swing band. Featuring the solo and rhythm guitars, violin, clarinet, and string bass, this quintet’s musical genre first originated in the 1930s by the French artists Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. Since then, this unique musical style has been kept alive by dedicated gypsy jazz artists.
Since its formation in 2013, Hot Club of Saratoga has shared its captivating sound at music festivals, bars, clubs, coffee houses, restaurants, weddings, and swing dances. Guests of Feast will be treated to many Django originals as well as other gypsy jazz song interpretations.
