DESCRIPTION:\nEastern hemlocks are incredibly important for our region\, bu
 t they're under threat from the invasive Hemlock Woolly Adelgid (HWA)\, an
  aphid-like insect.\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\nWe're calling on YOU to help slow th
 e spread of HWA and protect local hemlock forests. Surveying involves care
 fully inspecting the backside of hemlock branches for the telltale white\,
  cottony substance spun by HWA. No experience needed – all levels of vol
