Bethany Khan

Bethany Bowyer Khan is the founder of Arcadian Revival, a sustainable lifestyle brand and interior design studio. She has served as a Visiting Faculty member at Miami University where she built a curriculum on the real estate development process focusing on leadership and sustainability.

Prior, Bethany worked on residential multifamily ground-up construction and commercial renovation at RXR Realty in New York City – including leading the sustainability and wellness portfolio during the repositioning of 550 Madison Avenue.

She was Director of Real Estate and Planning at a local development organization, the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership and administered discretionary tax incentives at the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Her work in Brooklyn included re-imagining more than 50 acres of public land into new and improved park space for New Yorkers.

Bethany was a Policy Advisor at the City of New York where she focused on economic development and building energy policy to improve local air quality, and to support major economic development initiatives of the Michael Bloomberg administration. In this role, her portfolio included supportunity the public space of the World Trade Center redevelopment site, an effort to revive Hudson River mass transportation expansion, as well as the Rapid Repairs program – an effort to immediately repair homes damaged by Hurricane Sandy in NYC.

She earned a Master Degree from Columbia University in Public Policy and Administration. She lives with her husband, two children, and dog Hudson just outside of Saratoga Springs, New York.
